
Over the course of November, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the countries that are taking part at the Contest and their Junior Eurovision story so far. Today, we begin Spain’s story.
Spain debuted at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sergio participated with “Desde el cielo”, finishing in 2nd place and 125 points.
María Isabel represented Spain at the 2004 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Lillehammer, Norway. She participated with “Antes muerta que sencilla”, finishing in 1st place (their best position) and 171 points.
Antonio José represented Spain at the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Hasselt, Belgium. He participated with “Te traigo flores”, finishing in 2nd place and 146 points.
Dani Fernández represented Spain at the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Bucharest, Romania. He participated with “Te doy mi voz”, finishing in 4th place and 90 points.
