
Over the course of October and November, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the previous editions of the Contest. Today, we celebrate Kyiv 2013.
On Saturday 30th November 2013, the 11th Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place at the Palace Ukraine, in Kyiv, Ukraine. The show was hosted by Timur Miroshnychenko and Zlata Ognevich. The Interval Act was provided by All the Participants, Emmelie de Forest, Anastasiya Petryk and Zlata Ognevich.
One country debuted in Kyiv – San Marino, while Malta and North Macedonia (then known as FYR Macedonia) returned. They joined Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Sweden, The Netherlands and Ukraine. Albania, Belgium and Israel didn’t return for the 2013 edition.

3rd Place: Belarus – Ilya Volkov, “Poy so mnoy”
