
Over the course of November, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the countries that are taking part at the Contest and their Junior Eurovision story so far. Today, we begin Georgia’s story.
Georgia debuted at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Mariam Romelashvili participated with “Odelia Ranuni”, finishing in 4th place and 116 points.
Bzikebi represented Georgia at the 2008 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Limassol, Cyprus. They participated with “Bzz..”, finishing in 1st place (their best position) and 154 points.
Princesses represented Georgia at the 2009 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Kyiv, Ukraine. They participated with “Lurji prinveli”, finishing in 6th place and 68 points.
Mariam Kakhelishvili represented Georgia at the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus. She participated with “Mari-Dari”, finishing in 4th place and 109 points.
