🇦🇲 #JESC22: Further 2022 Contest Details Announced

Following the announcement of Nare as their representative, AMPTV, the Armenian national broadcaster, announced more details about the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Yerevan, Armenia.

The Opening Ceremony will take place on Monday 5th December, in Republic Square. As is traditional, the opening and closing participating countries will be selected, along with the running order position of Armenia. However, all sixteen Acts will turn on the lights of Yerevan’s Christmas Tree – an act traditionally performed on December 25th.

In regards to the Contest, the three Hosts will be revealed during November. Tickets will also go on-sale in November, ranging from €13 – €76 (5,000 dram – 30,000 dram). Maléna will accompany the sixteen participating Acts during their stay.

The previous nineteen winners of the Contest have been invited to Yerevan. However, due to the Belarusian and Russian national broadcasters been suspended by the European Broadcasting Union, it is unclear whether their winning acts will feature or not.
