Stig Karlsen, the Head of Delegation for Norway, has revealed that there will be only three Semi Finals for Melodi Grand Prix 2023 – down from five.

21 songs will still take part in Melodi Grand Prix, just like in 2022. It is still been debated whether or not an International Jury will return for the first time since 2019. However further details are still to be revealed – like dates of the shows and the host venue for the 2023 selection.
