
The BBC & Suspilne (the British & Ukrainian national broadcasters), yesterday signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, ahead of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, in Liverpool.
Tim Davie, Director General of the BBC and Mykola Chernotytskyi, Head of the Board of Suspilne, were the two broadcaster representatives to sign the Memorandum of Cooperation. By signing the Memorandum, they have agreed on the aspects of the Contest including design, artwork and theme music for the contest, as well as the use of Ukrainian culture.
Mykola Chernotytskyi, Head of the Board of Suspilne, had the following to say:
“I am grateful to our partners at the BBC for productive cooperation. We have already agreed on the key principles and areas of work to jointly ensure a unique Eurovision. This musical festival will combine modern Ukrainian culture and all the diversity of British music and creativity.”
