🇷🇴 #JESC22: Celebrating Romania At Junior Eurovision

Over the course of October and November, on the lead up to the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the countries that have participated at the Contest. Today, we celebrate Romania.

Romania debuted at the inaugural Contest in 2003, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Bubu finished in tenth place with his entry “Tobele sunt viața mea”, scoring 35 points.

The most successful entry from Romania was in 2004, when the Contest took place in Lillehammer, Norway. Noni Razvan Ene finished in fourth place with his entry “Îți mulțumesc”, scoring 123 points. This included three sets of twelve points – from Belarus, Latvia and Spain.

The most recent Romanian entry was in 2009, when the Contest took place in Kyiv, Ukraine. Ioana Bianca Anuta finished in thirteenth and last place with her entry “Ai puterea în mâna ta”, scoring 19 points. This included one set of twelve points from the EBU.
