Tonight, the second heat of Junior Eurovision Éire was broadcast. Six acts took to the stage with the hope of making the Semi Final of this year’s Contest. Each act was awarded a mark out of ten. The highest scoring act automatically went through to the Semi Final, while a sing-off selected the other Semi-Finalist.

Amber Dawes went straight through to the Semi Final after scoring 27 stars, performing “Lost Without You”. After the sing-off, Marley-Peig Leonard went through to the Semi Final after performing “Skinny Love”.

Tonight’s top two will join the following in the Semi Final:

• Lara Gleeson
• Clare Keeley
