Tonight, the first heat of Junior Eurovision Éire was broadcast. Six acts took to the stage with the hope of making the Semi Final of this year’s Contest. Each act was awarded a mark out of ten. The highest scoring act automatically went through to the Semi Final, while a sing-off selected the other Semi-Finalist.

Lara Gleeson went straight through to the Semi Final after scoring 26 stars, performing “When the Party is Over”.

After the sing-off, Clare Keeley went through to the Semi Final after performing “I Will Always Love You”.
