
Today, the 2022 Commonwealth Games continues to take place, in Birmingham, the United Kingdom. Each day throughout the Games, will be looking at the Commonwealth nations that have sent artists to the Eurovision Song Contest. Today we are looking at the countries that took part in the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest.
England (UK) – Imaani
Imaani represented the United Kingdom in Birmingham. Imaani performed “Where Are You?” – finishing in 2nd place, with 166 points.
Malta – Chiara
Chiara represented Malta in Birmingham. Chiara performed “The One That I Love” – finishing in 3rd place, with 165 points.
Cyprus – Michalis Hatzigiannis
Michalis Hatzigiannis represented Cyprus in Birmingham. Michalis performed “Genesis” – finishing in 11th place, with 37 points.
