
Today, the 2022 Commonwealth Games continues to take place, in Birmingham, the United Kingdom. Each day throughout the Games, will be looking at the Commonwealth nations that have sent artists to the Eurovision Song Contest. Today we are looking at Scotland (UK).
Lulu was the United Kingdom’s entry in 1969, when the Eurovision Song Contest took place in Madrid, Spain. Lulu performed “Boom Bang-a-Bang”, finishing in 1st place, with 18 points.
At the Commonwealth Games, Scotland (UK) have had a successful medal haul before the 2022 Games began, with:
- 🥇 – 119
- 🥈 – 132
- 🥉 – 200
