Today, the 2022 Commonwealth Games continues to take place, in Birmingham, the United Kingdom. Each day throughout the Games, will be looking at the Commonwealth nations that have sent artists to the Eurovision Song Contest. Today we are looking at England (UK).
Sandie Shaw was the United Kingdom’s entry in 1967, when the Eurovision Song Contest took place in Vienna, Austria. Sandie performed “Puppet on a String”, finishing in 1st place, with 47 points.
At the Commonwealth Games, England (UK) have had a successful medal haul before the 2022 Games began, with:
