Today, the 2022 Commonwealth Games continues to take place, in Birmingham, the United Kingdom. Each day throughout the Games, will be looking at the Commonwealth nations that have sent artists to the Eurovision Song Contest. Today we are looking at Australia.

Guy Sebastian was Australia’s debutant in 2015, when the Eurovision Song Contest took place in Vienna, Austria. Guy performed “Tonight Again”, finishing in 5th place, with 196 points.

At the Commonwealth Games, Australia have had the most successful medal haul before the 2022 Games began, with:

• 🥇 – 932
• 🥈 – 775
• 🥉 – 709
