Today, the 2022 UEFA Women’s European Championship continues and we will be celebrating it this year, with a Eurovision twist.

Today sees Match Day 18 and Game 29 of the tournament. England (UK) will be playing Sweden, from 20:00 GMT/21:00 CET. So which female Eurovision stars are we celebrating today?

England (UK) – Jessica Garlick (2002)

Jessica Garlick represented the United Kingdom at the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest, in Tallinn, Estonia. She finished in 3rd place, with “Come Back”.

Sweden – Malena Ernman (2009)

Malena Ernman represented Sweden at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest, in Moscow, Russia. She finished in 21st place, with “La voix”.
