🇸🇪 #EYM22: Country Profile – Sweden

On Saturday, the 2022 Eurovision Young Musicians will be taking place from Montpellier, in France. On the lead up to the Contest, we will be looking at each of the participating countries. Today we conclude with Sweden.

Sweden debuted at the 1986 Eurovision Young Musicians, which took place in Copenhagen, Denmark. Peter Jablonski participated with the Piano, however failed to place in the top three.

Sweden have won the Contest once. Andreas Brantelid took victory with the Cello, when the 2006 Eurovision Young Musicians took place in Vienna, Austria.

Sweden last participated at the 2018 Eurovision Young Musicians, in Edinburgh, the United Kingdom. Johanna Ander Ljung participated with the Harp, however failed to place in the top three.

Sweden will be represented by Lukas Flink on Saturday, when he participates with the Trombone in Montpellier.
