
Today, the 2022 UEFA Women’s European Championship continues and we will be celebrating it this year, with a Eurovision twist.
Today sees Match Day 11 and Games 19 & 20 of the tournament. Finland will be playing Germany, while Denmark will be playing Spain – both from 20:00 GMT/21:00 CET. So which female Eurovision stars are we celebrating today?
Finland – Krista Siegfrids (2013)
Krista Siegfrids represented Finland at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, in Malmo, Sweden. She finished in 24th place, with “Marry Me”.
Germany – Jamie-Lee (2016)
Jamie-Lee represented Germany at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, in Stockholm, Sweden. She finished in 26th place, with “Ghost”.
Denmark – Emmelie de Forest (2013)
Emmelie de Forest represented Denmark at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, in Malmo, Sweden. She finished in 1st place, with “Only Teardrops”.
Spain – Edurne (2015)
Edurne represented Spain at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna, Austria. She finished in 21st place, with “Amanecer”.
