🇮🇪 #IRELAND: TWO Consider A Return To Eurovision

Two former people related to past Irish Eurovision Song Contest entries have revealed that they would consider returning to the Contest in the future.

Louis Walsh recently spoke to the Irish Sunday World. He stated that if he had the right song, he would consider entering again. Louis had the following to say:

“If I got the right song and the right artist I’d definitely get involved. It’s getting both that is the key. I still love music. I still watch the charts, I still read up on everything. I watch all the TV music shows. I watched Harry Styles on the BBC the other night. I follow everything. I’m like Elton John who loves the game. He loves the music and there’s nothing he doesn’t know about it.

England hadn’t done well in recent years, but they sent a great song and a great singer to the Eurovision this year and they nearly won, and that’s what (Ireland) have to do.”

Una Healy, of The Saturdays, was a backing singer for Brian Kennedy. Una recently spoke to the Irish Mirror, expressing her wish to write a future entry. Una had the following to say:

“I would like to be part of it again in some way, because I did it in 2006. I don’t know if I would like to perform but maybe to write something for it. To write an amazing song, that would be a dream.”
