
In the first of two special #AtoZ series ahead of the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we are celebrating the languages sung at the Contest.
Macedonian
The Macedonian language first appeared at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Marija and Viktorija represented North Maceedonia with “Ti ne me poznavaš” – finishing in 12th place and 19 points.
Maltese
The Maltese language first appeared at the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus. Nicole Azzopardi represented Malta with “Knock Knock!….Boom! Boom!” – finishing in 13th place and 35 points.
Montenegrin
The Montenegrin language first appeared at the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Hasselt, Belgium. Filip Vučić represented Serbia & Montenegro with “Ljubav pa fudbal” – finishing in 13th place and 29 points.
Norwegian
The Norwegian language first appeared at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Copenhagen, Denmark. 2U represented Norway with “Sinnsykt gal forelsket” – finishing in 13th place and 18 points.
Polish
The Polish language first appeared at the 2003 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Katarzyna Żurawik represented Poland with “Coś mnie nosi” – finishing in 16th place and 3 points.
