
On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we are continuing with North Macedonia’s story.
After a one year wait, North Macedonia returned to the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Sofia, Bulgaria. Ivana Petkovska & Magdalena Aleksovska participated with “Pletenka – Braid of Love”, finishing in 17th and last place, with 26 points.
Martija Stanojković represented North Macedonia at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Valletta, Malta. She participated with “Love Will Lead Our Way”, finishing in 12th place and 41 points.
Mina Blažev represented North Macedonia at the 2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Tbilisi, Georgia. She participated with “Dancing Through Life”, finishing in 12th place and 69 points.
Marija Spasovska represented North Macedonia at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus. She participated with “Doma”, finishing in 12th place and 99 points.
Mila Moskov represented North Macedonia at the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Gliwice, Poland. She participated with “Fire”, finishing in 6th place and 150 points.
After a one year due to the Coronavirus pandemic, North Macedonia are back at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Paris, France. Can Dajte Muzika take North Macedonia’s first victory with “Green Forces”?
