On the lead up to the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is been held in Paris, we are looking back at all the countries to have participated in the Contest and their histories – past and present. Today we continue with Moldova’s story.
Moldova debuted at the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Minsk, Belarus. Ștefan Roșcovan participated with “Ali Baba”, finishing in 8th place and 54 points.
Lerika represented Moldova at the 2011 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Yerevan, Armenia. She participated with “No, No”, finishing in 6th place (their best position) and 78 points.
Denis Midone represented Moldova at the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He participated with “Toate vor fi”, finishing in 10th place and 52 points.
Rafael Bobeica represented Moldova at the 2013 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Kyiv, Ukraine – their final participation to date. He participated with “Cum să fim”, finishing in 11th place and 41 points.
