
Normally, Eurovision Choir would take place at the end of July or at the beginning of August. Following the CANCELLATION of this year’s Contest, we are looking back at the participating countries that’ve taken part. Today, we are looking at Wales.
In 2017, when Eurovision Choir took place in Riga, Latvia, Wales made their debut appearance. Côr Merched Sir Gâr represented Wales with “O, Mountain, O”, “Mil harddach” and “Wade in the Water”. Wales took 2nd place.
In 2019, when Eurovision Choir took place in Gothenburg, Sweden, Wales made their second appearance. Ysgol Gerdd Ceredigion represented Wales with “Cúnla” and “Ar Lan y Môr”. Wales did not place within the top 3.
