Over the course of November and on the lead up to the 2020 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, we will be celebrating the countries that have participated at the Contest. Today, we celebrate San Marino.
San Marino debuted at the Contest in 2013, in Kyiv, Ukraine and was also their most successful entry. Michele Perniola finished in tenth place with his entry “O-o-O Sole intorno a me”, scoring 42 points. This included one set of twelve points from the EBU.
The most recent entry from San Marino was in 2015, when the Contest took place in Sofia, Bulgaria. Kamilla Ismailova finished in fourteenth place with her entry “Mirror”, scoring 36 points.
