Following her appearance in “Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga”, Elina Nechayeva has revealed she may look at competing in the 2021 edition of Eesti Laul.
Elina Nechayeva told ERR, the Estonian national broadcaster:
“When I saw the film, I remembered the feeling of participating in the Contest. It was so good! I am now working on a new album and you may see a song that takes us to the Eesti Laul. I had never thought of that before.”
Elina Nechayeva reached the Grand Final in Lisbon, 2018. “La Forza” placed in 8th place with 245 points. During “The Story Of Fire Saga”, Elina performed an abridged version of “Ne partez pas sans moi” alongside Conchita Wurst during the Song-Along scene.
Eesti Laul will be going ahead as normal in 2021. Uku Suviste who should’ve represented the Estonians this year in Rotterdam, has been given an automatic Semi Final spot if he wishes to participate.
