#BETTING ODDS 2019 – How have today’s rehearsals affected the odds? Tues 7th May

Day 4 at the Eurovision Song Contest has come and gone, meaning we have now seen all countries taking part in the semi finals rehearse!

But how has this affected the betting odds? Once all the countries taking to the stage today had finished, we had a look at the betting odds over at oddschecker.com to see what the bookies have made of today’s proceedings.

Whose stars are rising high? Whose staging has taken a dive? Let’s take a look at the position of the countries in the overall odds and how this compares to last week before rehearsals started!

Croatia – 34th (up 2)

Malta – 7th (up 1)

Lithuania – 36th (down 3)

Russia – 2nd (no change)

Albania – 26th (up 1)

Norway – 13th (down 3)

The Netherlands – 1st (no change)

North Macedonia – 15th (up 2)

Azerbaijan – 4th (up 9)

Not only has today seen more movement in the betting odds than any other day so far, but we’ve also seen more countries climb up the odds than ever before! North Macedonia, Albania, Malta and Croatia have all gained ground, while Azerbaijan have rocketed 9 places up into 4th following Chingiz’s first run through. Norway and Lithuania have both dipped, while pre-contest front runners Russia and the Netherlands have remained in 2nd and 1st respectively.

We’ve now seen all the contestants taking part in the semi finals rehearse. Who has been the biggest surprise for you, good or bad?
