
We have seen all of this year’s participating countries rehearse once so far this year – but what about the countries thats have participated in the Contest previously?
Greece
Greece were the first nation ever to take to the stage at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, when it was held in Copenhagen, in 2003. They participated in the first six Contests, before eventually withdrawing before the 2009 edition.
Greece had mixed success in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Their best result came at the 2005 Contest, which was held in Hasselt, Belgium. Alexandros & Kalli finished in 5th place with their entry “Tora einai i seira mas”.

Croatia
Croatia were the second nation to take to the stage at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, when it was held in Copenhagen, in 2003. They participated in the five Contests – the first four between 2003 – 2006 and 2014 before eventually withdrawing before the 2015 edition.
Croatia had mixed success in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Their best result came at the inaugural Contest, which was held in Copenhagen, Denmark. Dino Jelusic finished in 1st place with his entry “Ti si moja prva ljubav”.
