Only a Eurovision Diva like Linda Martin could even dream of going all 90’s techno on us but that is what she has done on a new song ‘Did You Ever?’. Is it too late to get it to the Christmas #1 spot?

She has teamed up with former Ireland football player and coach Mick McCarthy for what can only be described as a glorious musical nightmare that you can’t stop listening to.

If the track could not get even more weird, it has voice overs from Louis Walsh. I am on a serious trip while listening to this! With lines like “That would be much harder” sung with pure innuendo, this good Catholic boy has to cover his ears! It’s like that moment you don’t want to talk about ‘The Birds and The Bees’ with your parents!

It’s not the first time Linda Martin has turned her hand to unusual remixes of songs – remember her legendary rendition of Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ on national tv? Pure Gold!

Well lets hope that Linda doesn’t send Liir (the female group she manages) down the techno path as we are enjoying their sultry celtic/pop vibe – SEE HERE
