Semi Final Pots Have been announced for Eurovision 2015 Draw
The semi final draw for Eurovision 2015 will take place tomorrow Monday January 26th to determine which semi-final each country will perform in. The event will take place in Vienna and you can watch live HERE at 13:25 CET.
The Semi-Finals take place on May 19th and 21st.
Due to the odd number of countries taking part this means that 16 countries will sing in Semi-Final 1 and 17 in Semi Final 2.
As before, another draw will also determine what half of the semi finals each country will perform in. The exact running order will be determined at a later date.
10 countries will qualify for the final from each semi final and they will join the ‘Big Five’ – France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom – along with the host country Austria.
The 33 semi finalist countries have been allocated into 5 pots based on their voting patterns over the last ten years to reduce the impact of any voting patterns in the past.
