There has been a lot of interest from across Europe in this year’s Swiss selection despite the drop in the number of entrants to SRF this year. We have profiled some of the entrants for the Swiss National Selection – From former Eurovision Contestants, to UK X-Factor Singers, to UK Eurovision produced Songs, To West End Singers to Northern Irish Singer/Songwriters.
The Swiss selection has it all this year from “Hopera” to Pop to Rock to Novelty songs.
The last time Switzerland won the Eurovision, it was with the then unknown Canadian singer Celine Dion. We all know what happened on that night in Dublin in 1988.
