Eurovision host 91996) and A-ha front man Morten Harket asks ‘Do you remember me?’. Well ‘The Sun Always Shines on TV’ whenever he graces the screen. The man is like a fine red wine – “He gets better with age”.

His new song is called ‘Do remember me?’. It is a song that has a Deep South/New Orleans tone to it – old style Rhythm and Blues. The verses remind me of that 80’s classic from Robbie Robertson – ‘Somewhere down that crazy river’ with its sultry chords. If I had to compare it to an A-ha song then it would be along the lines of the classic ‘Stay on these roads’.

This is an interesting ballad from Harket and I rather like it. The song is taken from his album ‘Brother’ and the video is taken from clips of his 2014 tour.

This guitar driven ballad is interesting as it is enjoyable.

Marks out of 12 – ‘Do you remember me’ gets a nice 8 points.
