Milli Seçim Turu is back on our screens this week after taking a break for the festive season. So Azerbaijan continues their search for their entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmo. Every Monday night the week’s contestants have to perform a Eurovision song. So here are the videos for week 3.

Vüqar Əliyev – This Is The Night

Not for the first time this season of Milli Seçim Turu we have Malta’s entry from Last year – “This is the night”. That funky dance and great song seems to be popular in Azerbaijan.

Adil Baxışlı – Kuula

Next up is Adil performing one of my personal favourites from 2012 – the wonderful “Kuula” from Ott Lepland of Estonia. A difficult song to sing but a good rendition.

Ülviyyə Baxışova – My Number One

Next up is the Greek winner from 2005 and performed by Ülviyyə. Always guaranteed to get you dancing.

Elton İbrahimov – Stay

Next up is Tooji from Norway from 2012. In fairness to Elton he sang the song just as good if not better than Tooji. A good rendition of “Stay”

Zəka Zeynalov – Euphoria

Next up a male cover of Loreen’s “Euphoria” and this time it is in tune. A good job done by Jeka.

Oksana Rizayeva – My Number One

Well it is unlike Milli Seçim Turu to have the same song performed on the same show but we have another version of Greek’s winner “My Number 1″ -Less dancing but more singing – so all square.

Məhrəm Qurbanzadə – Sognu

Always difficult to take on a recent Fan Favourite  but that is what Məhrəm did with style and confidence. Difficult song sung well, judge for yourself.

Fərəh Hadıyeva – Hold On Be Strong

Again the winner of the last week’s heat sang the Norwegian entry from 2008 and like last week’s entrant she was very professional

Avantaj – This Is Our Night

The first and only band this week – Avantaji taked on Sakis from Greece 2009. I would suggest the female singer comes down an octave and the song will sound a lot better.

So we are in the midst of Milli Seçim Turu – Have we found a winner yet?
